About Us

Clean Acres is a culmination of several efforts dating back to the early 2000’s, of New Housing Ohio’s desire to help folks overcome the disease of addiction.  Early on, our programs centered around providing Housing Subsidies for individuals fighting addiction, to ensure they had a roof over their head and warm place to call home. Seeing a need to do more, NHO began exploring housing options that could provide more than “just a roof.” Starting in 2012, NHO staff began talking with national leaders, including Susan Binns, founder of YANA House in Nashville, TN. After meeting with Susan and her team, NHO was inspired to do more. Soon thereafter, plans were put in place to start a program in Warren and Clinton Counties. In 2015, Clean Acres opened it’s doors and immediately began hoping those in need. We hope you like what we are doing! If you would like to learn more about our other programs, please visit www.newhousingohio.org.
