Land clearing in West Tennessee: from overgrown to open and usable.

Forestry mulching, bush hogging (also called brush hogging), land clearing, and grading for property owners across West Tennessee. Written quote with a not-to-exceed cap. Free on-site walk.

Sound familiar?

  • My property is disappearing into brush, briars, and honeysuckle.
  • I can’t walk, mow, hunt, build, fence, or maintain the land.
  • I don’t want burn piles, ruts, or a mess left behind.
  • Other crews can’t reach it or don’t have the right equipment.

We clear the path.

  • Forestry mulching turns unwanted growth into a natural ground layer.
  • Right-sized equipment handles tight lots, fence lines, and wooded ground.
  • Forestry mulching can transform a property in a day or two, depending on size and density.
  • You get a written quote with a not-to-exceed cap before we start, so you know the most you will pay.

Simple process. Serious equipment.

Land clearing doesn’t need to be a mystery. We look at access, acreage, density, and your goal, then give you a clear plan before the machine shows up.

1

Send the property

Share the address, photos, and what you want the land to become. You can text us photos from your phone.

2

Get a written quote

We confirm scope, access, timeline, and the day rate. Your quote includes a not-to-exceed cap, so the most you will pay is set before we start.

3

Watch it open up

We clear the growth, mulch material in place or haul it out, and leave the site usable.

How our pricing works.

No per-acre guesses. You get a number based on your actual property, in writing, before any work starts.

1

We walk the property

Free and no obligation. We look at brush density, terrain, access, and what you want the land to become.

2

Day-rate quote, in writing

Your quote is built on a day rate for the machine and operator, with fuel and conditions accounted for.

3

A cap you can count on

Every quote includes a not-to-exceed amount. That is the most you will pay for the scope we agreed on.

Why not per acre? Two acres of light brush and two acres of dense saplings are very different days of work, and diesel is over $6 a gallon in Tennessee. A day rate with a cap is the honest way to price it. Read more below.

How much does forestry mulching cost? +
We don’t publish flat per-acre prices, because they’d be misleading. Tennessee diesel has gone from about $3.40 a gallon a year ago to over $6 now, and a mulcher working hard can burn several gallons an hour. That is real cost that shifts, on top of brush density, terrain, and access. We quote every job on a day rate after walking the site, and the written quote includes a not-to-exceed cap. So the number you get reflects what your ground and today’s conditions actually require, and it is the most you will pay.
What’s the difference between bush hogging and land clearing? +
Bush hogging cuts growth back without removing roots — good for maintaining pasture. Land clearing removes brush and small trees entirely, leaving ground ready to build on or grade.
Do I need to be there during the work? +
Not usually. As long as we have access and know what you want cleared, we can work — and we’ll text you photos when it’s done.
How soon can you get to my property? +
Most requests get a same-day response. In our core zone we can usually walk the property within a few days.
Why a day rate instead of a per-acre price? +
A per-acre price only works if brush density, terrain, and fuel costs stay constant — they don’t. Two acres of light brush can take a fraction of the time of two acres of dense saplings, and fuel is a real, moving cost on top of that. A day rate tied to a written, not-to-exceed quote means you know the most you will pay before the machine starts, and you are never paying for someone else’s guess about your land.
Do you serve my town? +
We work within about 50 miles of Jackson, TN, including Milan, Humboldt, Brownsville, Henderson, Lexington, Bolivar, and Dyersburg, and the rural land between them. If you are not sure, send your address through the form and we will confirm.
Will the brush grow back after clearing? +
Cut growth can resprout, especially briars, honeysuckle, and young saplings. Mulching leaves roots in the ground, so some regrowth is normal. Many owners follow up with periodic bush hogging to keep the land open, and we can talk through a plan on the walk.
Does the weather affect when you can work? +
We can work through most of the year. Ground conditions matter more than the calendar. Very wet soil slows the work and can leave ruts, so we may reschedule after heavy rain to protect your property.
Do I need a permit to clear my land? +
Requirements depend on your county or city, what the land will be used for, and whether the work is near a stream or wetland. Many residential clearing jobs need nothing special, but disturbing a large area for construction can trigger stormwater rules. We will flag anything we see on the walk, and you should confirm local requirements with your county or city.
